Sporty Saturday- Biima Sports to Crospo Fun

Hi everyone!   March 8, 2025 was a fun and sporty Saturday for us. Since Daddy had a meeting, we decided to make the most of our time by checking out CROSPO in Hachioji after the kids’ morning sports activity. It was a great way to keep the kids active and entertained while we waited for him. Let me share how our day went.

The Night Before

We planned our day around daddy’s 2-hour meeting. Our original idea was for the kids and me to have lunch somewhere, then stroll around Hachioji Station. If the kids got bored, we could take the train back home to wait for daddy since the kids still had another Biima Sports session in the afternoon at Tama Center. Then later on  Daddy suggested a different plan if we could have lunch at McDonald’s and check out CROSPO while he was in his meeting. Everyone agreed! 🙂

Biima Sports, Lunch at McDonald’s & Heading to CROSPO

Our day started with the kids’ Biima Sports activity in the morning. It’s soccer day. After that, daddy dropped us off at McDonald’s, which was right next to CROSPO. The kids were excited about their Happy Meals, especially for the dinosaur toys! Meanwhile, daddy had his quick bento lunch (rice, fried pork, salad, corn soup, and mango float.I prepared in the morning. :)) in the car at the parking area near the meeting place before his meeting started.

When we arrived, we went up to the second floor to register at the machine near the information counter. Since we had two hours to spend, we decided to go for the 2-hour pass at CROSPO, which was perfect for the time we had. We entered our date of birth and received a registration receipt with a QR code. We had to keep this receipt because it would be used for payment before leaving. The female staff was really nice and accommodating, helping us register and even assisting us again when we were leaving. Admission prices vary depending on age and the day, but for weekends, peak season, vacations, and holidays, it was ¥2,000 for ages 7 and up.

Once inside, I used the lockers to store our things while the kids excitedly ran to the wall climbing/bouldering area. They tried it a few times, but since we only had two hours, we needed to explore other activities too.

We played together at the muscle challenge, which the kids enjoyed, then tried archery and trampoline. For the trampoline area, we had to register first, but since it wasn’t too crowded, we could enter immediately and jump around for a while. After that, the kids played at the chase tag and parkour area, then we went to the arcade section and we played arcade basketball shooting game and the alligator hammer arcade game—where you hit the gators as they pop out of tunnels.

CROSPO also has indoor board games, card games, and even free massage chairs. We wanted to try tower climbing, but the next available slot was after two hours, so we couldn’t fit it into our schedule. On the second floor, there was also a kids’ play area for younger children, as well as a family lounge and food court where you could order meals and drinks.

Exploring the Third Floor

We headed up to the third floor to check out more activities. There, we found UFO claw machines, billiards, and even more arcade games 🙂 all free to play. The kids loved the Mario Kart arcade. It was like they were having an ultimate racing experience! Unlike console versions of racing games, this one felt real with its steering wheels, racing seats, pedals, and immersive setup. I used to play arcade racing games too, so I knew exactly how they felt! They raced a few times, enjoying every moment.Another game they tried was Space Invaders Frenzy, which had a huge screen and felt like a modern arcade shooter with light guns.

There’s also a karaoke area with regular and family-sized rooms. The bowling area had 18 lanes, and a drink bar was available. You can also rent bowling shoes and other equipment (¥450), but you need to ask for assistance from the rental reception area on the second floor. There’s also an arm wrestling stand, a waiting/resting area with chairs and tables, vending machines. In this area, they also played inside the Let’s Go Island 3D arcade, where they used mounted guns to shoot enemies like sea creatures and monsters while on an adventure. The guns shook and released air, making the game even more exciting. While the kids played, I tried darts. Instead of an old-school dartboard, they had a digital dart machine with automatic scoring. The darts were soft-tip plastic, and the board had sensors to register scores accurately. It felt lighter and safer than traditional darts that I had.

They also have other amenities like a smoking area, elevator, lockers, a multipurpose toilet, male and female restrooms, a kids’ toilet, and a nursing room, a coin-changing machine in case you needed coins for candy dispensers or claw machines and more.

Wrapping Up & A Quick Stop at the Claw Machines

It’s almost 2 hrs. so we needed to prepare to leave. The kids still wanted to play. It’s before our time was up, we got our things from the locker while the kids played a little more at the bouldering area. The same female staff assisted me at checkout, where we used our registration receipt with the QR code to pay. 2 hours didn’t feel enough kids had so much fun and wanted to come back again next time! There were so many activities left to try.

Outside the reception area, daddy messaged that his meeting was extended. I didn’t see his message earlier. Since Daddy’s meeting wasn’t finished yet, we had some time to spare.   We played for a while with claw machines with really nice prizes. The kids aimed for the Nintendo Switch prize, but we had no luck this time 🙁 maybe next time! It’s time to leave. We had two options, wait at McDonald’s for a snack or walk to his meeting place, which was an 11-minute walk away. The kids wanted to walk for a while, so we headed to his meeting place. We decided to skip the afternoon Biiman session. His meeting took a little longer and the kids were already feeling a bit tired. Instead, we went to some shops to check out books, then had an early dinner at Karayama (we really love their crispy karaage) before finally heading home.

Thanks for reading about our fun day at CROSPO Hachioji! We had so much fun exploring all the activities and making memories together. It’s always great to try new places, and CROSPO offered something for everyone. We can’t wait to visit again soon for more adventures! Until next time, join us to our next adventure!

Hi there! ()

I’m still learning and exploring as I build and design my website. Updating posts, adding new pages and writing our new and old stories. It might still be a little messy, but I’m finding my way, step by step tinkering behind the scenes to make it better.

I create from the heart, not to impress but to express. In this space, I’m sharing pieces of my reflections, cherished memories and personal perspective, all based on my own experiences.

My website design and blog may not be perfect (◡‿◡✿),  just like me (❛‿❛).(ˆˆ). I hope it’s okay. This is me. I’m just being Me and writing as I am (ˆˆ)

I’ve made it with love, designed it with dedication and built it with determination and I know, I still have a long, long way to go.

Thank you for being here while I’m still tinkering and building my imperfectly perfect website.
